Privacy Policy for Tasks

Tasks ("the app") is a personal task and reminder app published by Byteloft ("we", "the developer"). Your privacy matters. This policy explains what the app does and does not collect.

Data You Create

The app stores the content you enter — tasks, notes, sub-tasks, due dates, reminder times, priorities, location-based reminders, and attachments (photos or files you add).

• On your device: your data is stored locally on your device.
• In your private iCloud: if you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database) so it can sync across your devices. This data is accessible only to you through your Apple ID. The developer has no access to it.

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your task data with anyone. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services in the app.

Permissions the App Requests

• Notifications: to deliver task and reminder alerts.
• Location: used only to trigger location-based reminders (for example, reminding you when you arrive at or leave a place). Location is processed on your device and is not collected or shared.
• Calendar: requested only if you turn on calendar integration, and used only to display your existing calendar events alongside your tasks. The app never creates, edits, or deletes calendar entries, and does not transmit calendar data.
• Camera and photos: used only when you choose to attach a photo to a task. Attachments are stored on your device and are never uploaded, including when iCloud sync is enabled.

Purchases

Tasks Pro features are available through in-app purchases and subscriptions handled entirely by Apple. The app does not receive or store your payment information. Purchases are processed by the App Store under Apple's privacy policy.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. All data stays on your device or in your private iCloud account.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
